Easter Seals employees have access to an electronic mail (E-mail) system. Employees also have access to the World Wide Web through the Internet. For the purposes of this policy, all such computer applications will be referred to as “electronic communications.” It must be recognized that no specific policy could cover every issue that might arise with such emerging technologies. Therefore, ES reserves the right to interpret and apply this policy as appropriate to the particular circumstances at the time.

The electronic communication system (hardware and software) is company property and is reserved for conduct of ES business. Any question as to the appropriateness of particular uses of the electronic communication system should be directed to the Director of Information Technologies or Vice President of Human Resources.
