Easter Seals Mobile Device Policy
Current Devices Approved for Use Under ESNH Mobile Device Policy
Devices with the following mobile operating systems:
- Apple IOS 4+
- Android 3.x+
- Blackberry OS 6+
- Windows 8+
Personal mobile devices not included on this list shall not be used to access ESNH computer network resources and ESNH will not provide any support for personal mobile devices not listed above. ESNH will provide limited support services for approved personal mobile devices only to facilitate access to ESNH computer network resources. Employee must, at her or her own expense, maintain the personal mobile devices’ operating systems and keep the device current with any patches or updates.
ESNH reserves the right to change the list of approved personal mobile devices, including removing personal mobile devices from the list, from time to time and in its discretion. If you have any questions regarding whether a particular personal mobile device is approved under this policy, please contact IT Help Desk at 603.621.3666 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Required Apps and Programs
Employee agrees to install on his/her personal mobile device and maintain, at a minimum, the following apps and programs:
- Exchange ActiveSync (included with the OS)
Employee will bear all costs incurred in purchasing and maintain these required apps and programs.
Unapproved Devices and Applications
Employee shall not use any of the following personal mobile devices to access ESNH computer network resources:
- No unapproved devices at this time.
Employee will not install or use any of the following apps or programs on an otherwise approved personal mobile device that accesses ESNH computer network resources:
- Network scanning applications.
Payment of Costs to Purchase and Maintain Approved Personal Mobile Devices
Employee will bear all costs to purchase and maintain the devices. Employee will bear all costs for any apps or programs used to access ESNH computer network resources.
